Perry Q Wood is Immediate Past President of the Australian Institute of Administrative Law. Recognised internationally by Best Lawyers, and consistently ranked by Doyle's and Lawyers Weekly, he is one of Australia's best lawyers.

Mr Wood is a former Senior Member / Practice Leader of Australia's administrative review tribunal (AAT) and previously served as an Asia-Pacific council member of the International Association of Refugee and Migration Judges.
Earlier, he trained as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and served as the Chief Judge's Associate at the County Court (to His Honour Chief Judge Rozenes AO QC) before practising as a Principal in both public and private practice.
He leads AML's pro-bono practice and has experience representing asylum seekers and refugees from various backgrounds.
Away from the law, Mr Wood is responsible for a multi-million dollar investment portfolio as Chair of the Investment Committee of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, first established as a branch of London's Royal Institute of International Affairs ("Chatham House") in Victoria in 1924.
